Aéroports de Lyon: The first French airport to be awarded the AFNOR Alliance certification for its commitment to diversity and equality in the workplace

Aéroports de Lyon is proud to announce that it has been awarded the AFNOR Alliance Label, a combination of the Diversity Label and the Gender Equality in the Workplace Label. This dual recognition is proof of the strength, consistency and maturity of the company’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) policy. It ensures robust HR and CSR governance at Aéroports de Lyon, underpinned by a structured DEI policy and the collective commitment of the teams.

Concrete actions for promoting equality and inclusion

For several years now, Aéroports de Lyon has been rolling out a number of initiatives for its staff and managers, including:

  • Training courses focusing on equality, diversity and inclusive management

  • Measures to prevent discrimination and harassment

  • An active policy to promote the employment of people with disabilities

  • The establishment and running of a DEI Committee, supported by a network of ambassadors and the involvement of management and labour. 

These initiatives have led to remarkable results in terms of gender diversity: 

  • 35% of managers are women

  • 40% of the Executive Committee are women

  • 50% of the Extended Executive Committee are women

  • Over 40% of the Supervisory Board are women

The first certified player in the airport sector

Aéroports de Lyon has become the first French airport to be awarded the AFNOR Alliance Label, confirming its leading role in terms of social responsibility within the sector. This award also reflects the values upheld by VINCI Airports in the areas of social responsibility, diversity and inclusion.
