First in France: Lyon Airport is revolutionising the security controls by offering passengers to book free time slots for security screening
- Available from 27 November, the new ZENLINE service will enable passengers at Lyon Airport to book their time slot for security controls for free and better manage their time at the airport.
- ZENLINE will be available for all flights operated at Terminal 1.
- Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is the first airport in France to offer this solution, which provides real benefits to passengers.
Aéroports de Lyon, VINCI Airports’ Innovation centre of excellence for passenger experience, announces the launch of ZENLINE, an innovative new service that will enable passengers with a flight departing from Terminal 1 to book their time slot to go through security screening. Available from 27 November 2024, ZENLINE will save passengers time and give them greater peace of mind.
Accessible via the Lyon Airport website and mobile app, this free service can be booked between 7 days and 24 hours before departure. Passengers will be able to select the time slot that best suits their schedule, so they can make the most of their time at the airport.
The system identifies and suggests time slots according to an “intelligent” slot planning logic calculated based on flight schedules, seat occupancy rates, peak travel times, and more.
ZENLINE is part of VINCI Airports’ and Aéroports de Lyon’s strategy to continuously enhance the passenger experience through innovation and a smooth passenger journey.
